Derek Keir: Director FoE

A word from the Director:

As we go into our 4th Annual Friend Of EduSport Charity Football match this week, growth is the word being talked about most.

In the last week Friend Of EduSport have secured a partnership with the Big Yellow Storage Company , gained further support from two schools and a college and secured a further two sponsors as well as a donation of footballs from David Beckhams Soccer Academy. On top of this we recently had our first national piece of press in The Herald .

Our sponsorship programme is supporting 27 young people and Chawama SEE school is now home to over 80 young and vulnerable children.

Fundraising has started for the development of a library and sports village in Bauleni next year and it is clear we are making strides towards our educational and sporting goals.

We couldn’t do it without your continued support. I would like to thank you and encourage you all to keep your heart in the business of helping others because its making a difference where it matters as ever more children are returning to school as a result of sponsorship. Keep up the good work.
