What is the Go Sisters World Series?
The Go Sisters World Series will be launched in August 2008. It aims to
generate interest and an understanding of the Go Sisters programme
across the world and raise the awareness of the need to support sport
and education opportunities for girls, particularly those in Zambia.
Aims of ‘Go Sisters’ World Series

To take the vision and mission of Go Sisters to a worldwide audience.

•To engage new ‘Friends’ in the fundraising effort to support sport and education in Zambia.

•To give Friend of EduSport a signature event to promote its activities.

•Raise the profile of EduSport and Friend of EduSport internationally
Give girls the opportunity to come together and play football in a fun
environment for a great cause. Friend of EduSport is co-ordinating a
series of football games across the world on the 9th August 2008. There
has been substantial encouragement and commitment from EduSport’s
supporters from around the world. Games have already been organised to
take place in America, Canada and Norway. 3 games will also
take place different cities in the UK {mosimage and 5 will take place across
Zambia. This means that the Go Sisters World Series will reach across 3
continents and 5 countries. It is hoped that further expansion will take
place in the coming years to increase the scope of the Go Sisters World
Series.

Once there was a little boy who was walking down the beach. On that
particular day there were thousands of little star fishes thrown up on
the sandy beach at the high tide line. The little boy decided to start
throwing the little fishes back into the ocean. While he was doing that,
an old man came over to him and said to the boy, " What difference is
what you are doing going to make, can't you see that there are too many
of them?". The little boy got one fish and threw it back into the ocean
and said, "This one sir. This one will make a difference.
