How to get involved?
Join us in providing opportunities
for women from around the world to come together in aid of the girls
rights in Africa. If you are a school or a sports club wishing to take
part in the Go Sisters World Series in April or May 2009 please email
your contact details to

. Simply organise a game of girls football (can be any age and any
level) to be held in your local area and join the growing population
around the world fighting for equality in Africa.
A pack will be distributed to each organiser who commits to host a Go
Sisters World Series game. This will help you to organise your event as
efficiently as possible. It will contain sponsor forms, official match
programmes and step by step instructions of ‘Kicking Aids Out’
activities. We hope each player will be given the chance to participate
fully in the Go Sisters experience by incorporating these fun activities
into your warm up session prior to kick off.
A small deposit of £10 will be asked from each organiser in advance to
cover costs of materials and postage for this pack. You can recoup this
from your fundraising costs after the game.
Each player participating in the Go Sisters World Series will be
encouraged to raise funds to contribute to supporting the Go Sisters
programme and to be part of this incredible event in their local
community. A target of £20 minimum per player will be allocated to UK
participants as a guidance figure although as an organiser you may wish
to give each player or each team a fundraising target.
Go Sisters World Series is a registered concept under UK law (to be
confirmed - May 2008). We recognised from the outset the power of the Go
Sisters branding owned by EduSport Zambia, we want to support this and
promote the values intrinsically associated with the activities. Friend
of EduSport work in unity with EduSport in Zambia to support the mission
to ‘build happy, healthy and sustainable communities’.
The message of Go Sisters extends beyond the football pitch; it is a
powerful message to the girls across the world to unite to promote
equality through the vehicle of sport. We encourage girls to come
together on the 9th August in every community from every continent to
share in this enriching experience and make a real difference to the
lives of many young people in Zambia, whilst enjoying the liberation of
girl’s football.
