Thank you very much to everyone for the kind donations over the festive season to enable us to continue our on going help and support for Chawama See School and the peer leaders that we sponsor within the compounds of Lusaka.
Donations came in from all over Scotland after Rona Macintosh sent a festive letter with information about the work Friend Of EduSport are doing out in Zambia. People were excited to help out after reading about the charity from a recent press release from the Daily Record and Glasgow Herald newspapers that explained a bit more about our aims and objectives out in Zambia.
Rona would like to send particular thanks to Kelbourne Primary School for raising £150 in a Christmas card collection. Additional thanks go to Stan Kerr (£200 xmas donation to continue sponsoring the same peer leader in Bauleni for another year and wishes to donate the rest of the money towards Chawama See School), Marion and Stewart McIntosh (who have donated £120 to continue their sponsorship of two peer leaders for another year), Rona McIntosh (£120 donation to sponsor two Kalingalinga based peer leaders for the year) Gibson and Sheila Flemming (£75 online donation to be put towards the development of Chawama See School), June and John Kennedy, Bev and Johnathan Butt (£65 donation towards sponsoring a peer leader), Janette and Dave Belcher (£65 donation to sponsor a peer leader for the year), and June and John Kennedy (£25 online donation to be put towards Chawama See School).
Thank you all for your great support, it really is making a difference to the lives of young people who have a lot to offer not only to their communities but also to the world of sport.
